This is my second year in a row renting from Kaliva - a wonderful, seamless experience both times.  The golf carts are well kept and designed to withstand the cobblestone roads of Sayulita.  Can't wait to come back and rent next year!

There is not much more to say. These people go above and beyond. For example 1st day out a phone jiggled out if the pocket on the cart. We told them. They tracked it down! We rented a SUX from Kaliva Rentals from February 21–28. We had only intended to stay in Sayulita for 4 nights but after the incident in PV on Feb. 22, we decided to stay there an extra 3 days rather than move further up the coast. We were able to extend our rental for the additional 3 days, no problem at all. I asked the owners if they could recommend somewhere to stay (we decided to move on from the place we rented for 4 nights) and they offered their brand new accommodations. They weren't even officially open to the public but were happy to have us 'soft launch' one of their spaces.

The accommodations are absolutely beautiful. You can tell that so much thought, care, and attention to detail went into every aspect of the space. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and welcoming. As part of the building, there is a sports bar on the ground level. This was directly under our unit but we didn't hear a thing. Between the solid concrete walls and the a/c on, it was peaceful and quiet. It was really nice to open the window coverings first thing in the morning and have the living room be flooded with light. The sounds of the north side waking up and starting their day was fun while sipping coffee. When we'd leave for the day, we'd close the window coverings and just leave the ceiling fan on. No a/c. That kept the place cool even while it was 27 degrees C out!

Craig and Sonya, the owners, were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and truly welcomed while we spent our last few days in Sayulita. They gave us dining suggestions and tips on what to see and do. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. We felt like we had made new friends!  I truly can’t speak highly enough of both the accommodations and the wonderful people behind them.

Just a note about renting a SUX (ours was a Honda 500) - we were able to explore so much more of Sayulita with this machine. Up and down hills and into neighbourhoods I'd never been before. We also went to remote beaches that were too far to comfortably walk in the heat. These beaches were so incredibly beautiful and left us with so many fond memories. It was worth every penny for the rental.

There are very many places to rent from and Sayulita and we visited a number of them. By far the most professional and trustworthy place is Kaliva. We rented a gas powered side by side. Fair price at 1500 pesos for 24 hours. They give you a list of recommendations to visit. Great day. Highly recommend.

We were so impressed by the customer service by Kaliva's owners and staff! They delivered and picked up our side-by-side for a small fee that made it so easy for us! The vehicle was in great condition and when the plug for the speaker wasn't working, they popped over to swap it out super quickly! They were so helpful and had excellent tips to make our vacation fun! We took their advice to go out to a secluded beach, which was a huge hit with our whole group! AMAZING TIME EVER!!!! Came out for SuperBowl weekend and had the best time ever. The staff were super nice and food and drinks were delicious. The crowd was amazing and everyone was having a great time! Highly recommend. Plus, we got to meet the owners, Craig and Sonia and they were the coolest people ever! Will definitely be coming back here.
